How Shamballa started

In 1994 Hari Baba (John Armitage) – homeopathic doctor, lightworker and channeler - was asked by Germain, the original founder of Reiki, to bring a new outline of energy work to the people. 

In the beginning John did not intend to do this. He knew the Reiki system and thought is was limited. Reiki was recovered in the nineteenth century by a Buddhist master, Doctor Usui. During a meditation a very old healing formula was reinforced. After that, Reiki spread all over the world as an alternative treatment, for others as well for personal use.

After working with Reiki for some time, more and more people experience some kind of border: grow and development seems to come to an end. We know now that this was meant to be: integrating each form of cosmic energy takes time. After it had been away so many centuries, the power had to be limited. But ultimately the power is infinite.

Germain could show to Hari Baba that these limitations are now longer needed, due to the start of the age of Aquarius, when these cosmic energies will be limitless available and applicable. Germain also told him that Shamballa would not be a new healing method in the first place. The main purpose was to reconnect people to the higher self of their higher selves: the I Am Presence. By that time Hari Baba said to Germain: “OK, this could be interesting”.

In this way of working with cosmic energies was created. It is called: ‘Shamballa Multi Dimensional Healing’ 

What are these cosmic energies?

You might say that it is ‘universal life power’. In western Christian society it is called ‘Christ energy’. In eastern countries it is called ‘prana’, ‘chi’ and ‘Qi’. So each culture has created it’s own name. It’s pure, it’s natural and everyone has access to it. Par example: you comfort a child by holding it to your chest and wrapping your arms around it. By subtle energy portals that are present all over your body, but especially in your hands, you pass on these energies. By this example you can see that we usually know these energies as ‘love’ – and it sure is! It is cosmic, divine love. But through the standards of our culture, issues in education, environmental pollution, life style and so on, these energy portal silt up more and more. You don’t feel and recognise the flow of energy anymore.   

Opening the energy portals

During the workshops the energy portals are opened into their original state. This is called ‘activation’, nowadays usually done in a group. After that you can feel the flow of energy and work with it. Your body becomes an open channel between the cosmos and the earth. When you allow the energies to work, your energy portal grow easily and by itself to the level that you can treat others as well. After some time and training you can learn to activate other people as well.

Symbols

In former days you were taught to use symbols, a kind of ‘keys’. Each one had access to some aspect of the cosmic energies. As this was part of the era that the energies had to be limited, we could leave these symbols behind us. Nowadays we work completely without symbols. Actually, working with symbols feels now as limiting the energies! You might say that with the start of the Aquarius age, we’ve developed ourselves from a stage of working with the energies into a stage where we truly are the energies. In this way the energies are stronger and the flow is also much more true to its nature: you feel that the energy knows exactly what to do. It is highly intelligent.

What is taught during workshops

You will learn how to allow the energies to work in the best possible ways. You’ll learn exercises and meditations. You’ll get information how you can change your attitude to let go of fear, limiting ideas about life and life style. You’ll learn how to treat yourself and how to treat others. Also you’ll learn about how to clean rooms and houses energetically, how to work with crystals, how to reinforce your food and drinks and much, much more.

You will get information about background information and where you can find even more information. How to work directly with the higher frequencies of the energy and with multidimensional helpers.

You’ll discover a new way of living and experiencing, away from fear and doubt. You’ll leave the idea that you need to fight and struggle to achieve things. You’ll discover that surrendering to this cosmic, divine love (which is love without any condition whatsoever) is a normal, natural and original way of life and living together.

You will also feel that this will enfold itself in a tempo that is completely suitable to you. And also you’ll discover that nothing happens without the permission of yourself and your I Am presence.

What does Shamballa offer?

Shamballa supports your development. In the tempo that suits you best you become who you really are. This means that you don’t adopt what other people might tell you, but to open up to hear the voice of your I Am Presence. In this way you’ll discover that all answers are available within yourself. To open this portal in yourself is the biggest and most brilliant presence that you can offer yourself in this life time. It means to be free, in each and every way.

Ultimately others will benefit from all this as well, but the first goal is to discover your personal power and gifts. It is understandable now that this ‘mastery’ in Shamballa is called ‘self mastery’.

Point of departure in Shamballa

Shamballa has no control, no power. There are no strict methods and no systems. No teachers that ‘know everything’. Shamballa acknowledges that each and every person has his or her own road of development. Each judgment is naïve, for no one knows the divine plan of the person you are judging. Hari Baba verbalized this starting point of Shamballa in this way: “Shamballa has only one rule: there are no rules”.

Acknowledged workshops

All Shamballa workshops that are taught by Krijn Koetsveld are acknowledged by the Shamballa School of Esoteric Sciences and concluded by handing over a certificate that is acknowledged and registered by The Shamballa Organization.

The Shamballa organization include these parts:

• De Shamballa School: This is the organization of Shamballa teachers around the world
• De Shamballa Foundation: This foundation creates and administer funds to help projects in the third world.                                          
• De Shamballa Association: An association of all members of the ‘Shambala Family’: everyone that has received the Shamballa Activations can join this Association.
• Het Shamballa Secretariat: this part of the organization Works for the School, the Foundation and the Association. The secretariat takes care of the certificates and manages the database with personal data of people who have attended the Shamballa workshops.
• Regional groups: A network of groups in the Netherlands, which can be set up in other countries as well.
